Terms of Use

Clear terms protect everyone, especially when technology is involved in an older person's daily safety. These terms explain how to use the K. S. Sembawang Digital Care Pte Ltd website and what to expect when discussing smart-home or care technology with us.

Version 1.0 Effective when published

Using this website means you accept these terms. Please read them before relying on site information or arranging a consultation.

01 / Advice has limits

Consultation and service limitations

A home assessment helps us understand your household, discuss suitable devices and identify practical setup needs. It is a technology consultation. It does not include a clinical assessment, medical diagnosis, nursing service or emergency response.

AI detection and connected devices can produce notifications based on available signals. They can miss an event, send a delayed or incorrect alert, or stop working when power, connectivity or a device fails. An alert is information for a household to consider, not confirmation of a person's condition.

For an urgent situation, contact the appropriate emergency service directly. Do not wait for a device notification or treat an automated alert as a substitute for professional care.

Recommendations depend on the details you give us, including the flat layout, connectivity, household routines and care needs. Tell us when those details change.

02 / Before equipment is supplied

Product availability and installation responsibilities

Device and package availability depends on stock, technical compatibility and the outcome of an assessment. A device shown or discussed on this website may not suit every HDB flat or household.

We will discuss material changes to a proposed setup with you before proceeding. If a device model is discontinued or unavailable, we may suggest a component with comparable intended functions, subject to your agreement.

Plan access before installation. The household must arrange suitable access to the property, working power points and any required permissions. In a rental flat or managed building, check with the landlord or relevant management before work begins.

Clause 2.1

Stock and compatibility

Availability may change before an order or installation is confirmed. Devices also depend on the home's power supply, network coverage, existing equipment and supported platforms. We will identify known compatibility limits during planning; a site assessment cannot rule out every technical issue.

Clause 2.2

Access and permission

You are responsible for arranging access at the agreed time and obtaining permission to install equipment, including permission from a landlord, building manager or other property decision-maker where needed. Tell us about access restrictions and relevant house rules before work is scheduled.

Clause 2.3

Changes to components

If a named model cannot be supplied, we will explain the proposed alternative and any material difference in function or compatibility. We will not treat a substitution as accepted until you agree to the revised arrangement.

04 / Responsibility and jurisdiction

Liability boundaries and governing law
